August 28th Day 2 of Alaska Disney Cruise- Day at Sea

 Well, we made it on, as you can see. So now it's time to SEAS the day with a day at sea.

First things first, got to go get the coffee and do some trivia (who am I kidding, we're gonna do all the trivia that we possibly can). My favorite lounge for drinks is Soul Cat Lounge, re-themed after the movie Soul.



I got Elsa character drawing on my coffee this morning. One of the reasons for getting all these speciality coffees that cost extra are the designs and the crew you interact with at the coffee shops

Trivia may or may not have been won, you'll just have to wait and see...

Then we went on as I call it a photo hunt extravaganza, i.e. get as many character photos as we can get in other words all of them...

We got an Avenger people. We got to meet Thor. He was really nice, you know for a god

We are all constantly on our phones and they revolve around our conversations.

Then we retired to the rooms for our look at day 2’s towel animal

​ Some awesome set designs and merchandise can be found while hanging with Bluey and the gang for the best day ever Bluey’s Best Day Ever does seem to draw a crowd so I recommend getting here early and if you come for the 12:10 PM show I would suggest mobile ordering ahead of time from troubadour tavern (they have the best baked potatoes) Live music and dancing and stage seating for the children Fun event for the whole family definitely recommended for a nice break in the day A negative about it is that it was so loud for the music that we could not hear the people talking even though they had microphones so I would recommend sitting near the back of the theater

Los Angeles to Sydney Feb 4- Feb 6

 Los Angeles to Sydney…what a couple of days! Tuesday, Feb 4, 2025 Tuesday morning, I got up, and Lori and I did our usual routine of going to Disneyland. All the cast members were shocked to see us because they knew we were heading to Australia for our Disney cruise. We then went home, and of course, I had to repack everything to ensure I had everything since I was always packing and repacking down to the last minute—courtesy of a little bit of OCD that I have. We then headed to the airport…hoping we didn’t forget anything… still hoping that, as I’m writing this the day after we arrived in Sydney. When we arrived at the airport it was super easy to check-in. We flew business class on Air New Zealand, which was really nice. They were very friendly and they even liked the Disneyland chocolate bars we gave them. We then flew to Auckland. When we arrived in Auckland, we went to the business class lounge.
