July 17th Disneyland 71st Birthday

​Ok. So I’ve been up since 2 AM actually never falling asleep since midnight stressing over trying to get the Lorcana packs. I decided not to try since people were lining up at 2 already.


So now we just wait for everyone else to wake up and be ready. It’s going on 7 AM and I think we are planning to meet at 8 AM try to avoid the crowds


So it we had so much fun riding rides, eating and just hanging out with each other. It was a nice family trip.


One of the boys made a new friend and rode a ride with him. We all had fun together.


We closed down the park. Although we did miss our midnight showing of The Enchanted Tiki Room.

​ Some awesome set designs and merchandise can be found while hanging with Bluey and the gang for the best day ever Bluey’s Best Day Ever does seem to draw a crowd so I recommend getting here early and if you come for the 12:10 PM show I would suggest mobile ordering ahead of time from troubadour tavern (they have the best baked potatoes) Live music and dancing and stage seating for the children Fun event for the whole family definitely recommended for a nice break in the day A negative about it is that it was so loud for the music that we could not hear the people talking even though they had microphones so I would recommend sitting near the back of the theater

Los Angeles to Sydney Feb 4- Feb 6

 Los Angeles to Sydney…what a couple of days! Tuesday, Feb 4, 2025 Tuesday morning, I got up, and Lori and I did our usual routine of going to Disneyland. All the cast members were shocked to see us because they knew we were heading to Australia for our Disney cruise. We then went home, and of course, I had to repack everything to ensure I had everything since I was always packing and repacking down to the last minute—courtesy of a little bit of OCD that I have. We then headed to the airport…hoping we didn’t forget anything… still hoping that, as I’m writing this the day after we arrived in Sydney. When we arrived at the airport it was super easy to check-in. We flew business class on Air New Zealand, which was really nice. They were very friendly and they even liked the Disneyland chocolate bars we gave them. We then flew to Auckland. When we arrived in Auckland, we went to the business class lounge.
