Jan 2: Knott’s Berry Farm

​Day 2 of theme parks in the rain…

This time we ventured over to Knott’s Berry Farm with the boys, their mom, and some friends of ours.

Everybody except for myself and a few others were there from 10-10. The rest of us showed up around noon.

I finally entered the park at 1 pm. I accomplished 3 rides alternating who sat with the little ones when the older kids went on the bigger rides and 2 shows.

We had two meals in the park, Coasters Diner and Panda Express. Using our food pass which is a great deal, if you plan it right.

The rides we rode were the Beagle Express Railroad in Camp Snoopy, Calico Mine Ride and Ghost Rider in Ghost Town.

The shows we watched were Snoopy’s Night Before Christmas and ‘Tis the Season Tree Lighting. We also watched the snow fall, Snow and Glow from Ghost Town.

Overall it was a successful day. We finally got a replacement stroller, picked up in the morning on my way to Knott’s.

​ Some awesome set designs and merchandise can be found while hanging with Bluey and the gang for the best day ever Bluey’s Best Day Ever does seem to draw a crowd so I recommend getting here early and if you come for the 12:10 PM show I would suggest mobile ordering ahead of time from troubadour tavern (they have the best baked potatoes) Live music and dancing and stage seating for the children Fun event for the whole family definitely recommended for a nice break in the day A negative about it is that it was so loud for the music that we could not hear the people talking even though they had microphones so I would recommend sitting near the back of the theater

Los Angeles to Sydney Feb 4- Feb 6

 Los Angeles to Sydney…what a couple of days! Tuesday, Feb 4, 2025 Tuesday morning, I got up, and Lori and I did our usual routine of going to Disneyland. All the cast members were shocked to see us because they knew we were heading to Australia for our Disney cruise. We then went home, and of course, I had to repack everything to ensure I had everything since I was always packing and repacking down to the last minute—courtesy of a little bit of OCD that I have. We then headed to the airport…hoping we didn’t forget anything… still hoping that, as I’m writing this the day after we arrived in Sydney. When we arrived at the airport it was super easy to check-in. We flew business class on Air New Zealand, which was really nice. They were very friendly and they even liked the Disneyland chocolate bars we gave them. We then flew to Auckland. When we arrived in Auckland, we went to the business class lounge.
