🎬✨ A Day of Magic: Visiting Disney Studios & Walt Disney Imagineering in Burbank, California

Yesterday felt like stepping straight into a dream. Walking through the gates of the Disney Studios in Burbank — the very heart of where so much movie magic began — was nothing short of surreal. From the iconic animation building to the peaceful Legends Plaza honoring Walt’s creative pioneers, every corner whispered stories of imagination, innovation, and a little pixie dust.


The real wonder, though, came from visiting Walt Disney Imagineering — the creative engine that brings Disney parks to life around the world. Seeing models, concept art, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of how attractions are designed felt like peeking behind the curtain of pure creativity. Every detail, from the sketches on the walls to the scale models of castles and coasters, reminded me that Disney magic is built by dreamers who never stop asking, “What if?”


As I left, I couldn’t help but feel inspired — not just by the artistry, but by the spirit of collaboration that has fueled Disney for nearly a century. It’s one thing to experience the magic in the parks; it’s another to see where it all begins. Burbank truly is the heart of Disney’s storytelling universe — and for one unforgettable day, I got to walk right through it.

​ Some awesome set designs and merchandise can be found while hanging with Bluey and the gang for the best day ever Bluey’s Best Day Ever does seem to draw a crowd so I recommend getting here early and if you come for the 12:10 PM show I would suggest mobile ordering ahead of time from troubadour tavern (they have the best baked potatoes) Live music and dancing and stage seating for the children Fun event for the whole family definitely recommended for a nice break in the day A negative about it is that it was so loud for the music that we could not hear the people talking even though they had microphones so I would recommend sitting near the back of the theater

Los Angeles to Sydney Feb 4- Feb 6

 Los Angeles to Sydney…what a couple of days! Tuesday, Feb 4, 2025 Tuesday morning, I got up, and Lori and I did our usual routine of going to Disneyland. All the cast members were shocked to see us because they knew we were heading to Australia for our Disney cruise. We then went home, and of course, I had to repack everything to ensure I had everything since I was always packing and repacking down to the last minute—courtesy of a little bit of OCD that I have. We then headed to the airport…hoping we didn’t forget anything… still hoping that, as I’m writing this the day after we arrived in Sydney. When we arrived at the airport it was super easy to check-in. We flew business class on Air New Zealand, which was really nice. They were very friendly and they even liked the Disneyland chocolate bars we gave them. We then flew to Auckland. When we arrived in Auckland, we went to the business class lounge.
